Care levels we place, from companion to bedridden support

For an independent senior the attendant is mostly a companion: conversation, walks, meals, medicine reminders, help with the phone and accompanying them to the clinic or bank.

For a partly dependent senior the work includes bathing support, dressing, walker or wheelchair transfers and physiotherapy exercise follow-through. For a bedridden patient it extends to sponge baths, diaper changes, position changes to prevent bedsores, feeding, catheter and Ryles tube hygiene under medical guidance.

Daily routine an attendant maintains

• Morning hygiene, bathing, grooming and clean bedding
• Meals as per the prescribed diet, feeding where needed
• Medicines given on time with a written log
• Mobility, walking support and prescribed exercises
• Vitals noted where the doctor asks for them
• Companionship, reading, music and family video calls

Post-hospital and dementia care

After surgery or a hospital discharge the first weeks matter most. We place attendants who have handled wound dressing support, restricted movement, fall prevention and strict medicine schedules, and who know when to escalate to the family or doctor.

For dementia and Alzheimer's care we look for patience over speed: attendants who follow a fixed routine, avoid arguing with the patient, keep the home free of hazards and stay calm through repeated questions and night restlessness.

How families in Mumbai usually structure the shift

A 12 hour day shift works when a family member is home at night. Many families with working children choose two attendants on rotating 12 hour shifts, or a single live-in attendant with a fixed weekly off and a relief person on that day.

We arrange the relief attendant on the off day so care is never interrupted, which is the most common failure point families report with informal arrangements.

What elder care costs

Cost depends on the dependency level, shift length, night duty and whether medical tasks such as tube feeding or catheter hygiene are involved. Bedridden care is priced higher because the physical work and skill required are higher.
